Dr Kristin
Head Veterinarian
Kristin is our Head Veterinarian and has been caring for animals for as long as she can remember, often taking in strays and nursing them back to health from a young age. She began her career in a reception role before progressing to overnight emergency nursing while completing veterinary school. After graduating from Murdoch University in 2006, Kristin worked in Canada and England with both horses and small animals, before returning to Perth to work in emergency and general practice. Her special interests include geriatric medicine, end-of-life care, dentistry, and surgery, and she has completed additional training in brachycephalic medicine and surgery to better support these patients. More recently, Kristin undertook extensive continuing education in advanced surgical procedures to further refine her skills. Outside of work, she is kept busy by her Dobermans, two cats, and three young children.

Dr Charlotte
Veterinarian
Charlotte became a veterinarian through her strong passion for science and lifelong love of animals. After graduating from Murdoch University in 2015, she worked in Sydney for three years before returning to Perth, where she has primarily worked in emergency medicine. Charlotte has a particular soft spot for poodles and oodles and enjoys helping both pets and their owners through every stage of their veterinary journey. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends, travelling and watching TV and movies. During her university years, Charlotte also had the opportunity to work and volunteer at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.
Dr Iris
Veterinarian
Iris is one of our recent graduate veterinarians who has always had a love for animals, which inspired her to pursue a veterinary career. After graduating in 2023, she joined our team and began her career in small animal general practice. Iris has a particular interest in managing complex gastrointestinal cases and eye conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys playing badminton with friends and exploring new coffee shops.
Dr Jinyi
Veterinarian
Jinyi is a new graduate veterinarian who has recently joined our team after graduating from Murdoch University. She is excited to continue building her skills, with a keen interest in gaining more experience in surgery and imaging. Jinyi shares her life with her miniature schnauzer and has also volunteered on a spay trip in Thailand last year. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting and sketching.
Dr Lia
Veterinarian
Lia has recently graduated as a veterinarian and has joined our team from New Zealand. Her love for animals began in childhood with her pet rats and mice, and it has continued to grow ever since. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and is eager to keep learning and developing her skills. Lia has also volunteered with the SPCA, assisting with charity spey programs to support animals in need. Outside the clinic, she enjoys the gym, martial arts, thrifting, music and her little dog Lily.

Amy
Practice Manager
Amy has always had a love for animals and knew from an early age that she wanted a career dedicated to their wellbeing. After graduating from AVT in 2016, she joined the Swan Valley Vet Centre team in 2017 and has since become one of our longest-standing team members. With extensive clinical and leadership experience, Amy has a passion for mentoring and supporting nurses and students, helping them develop their skills and confidence. She particularly enjoys livestock work, anaesthesia and surgical nursing. Amy has completed further training in BOAS surgery, Fear Free practices and other areas of veterinary nursing. Outside of work, Amy enjoys caring for and riding her horses, raising orphaned sheep, camping, spending time outdoors and coaching at her Pony Club.
Ange
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Ange is one of our long-standing registered veterinary nurses, with a lifelong love of animals that naturally led her into the veterinary industry. She particularly enjoys managing complex hospital cases and assisting with orthopaedic procedures. She thrives off seeing patients through all aspects of their care, from consult to surgery and post-operative care. Outside of work, Ange loves riding her horse Pixie and spending time with her cat Henry and her Kelpie, Baz.
Bec
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Bec joined the veterinary industry driven by her lifelong love of animals, beginning her career as a new graduate nurse at Swan Valley. As one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses, she also keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes with ordering and stock control. She has a special soft spot for gentle giants like Great Danes, adores guinea pigs and wildlife, and shares her home with horses and cats. Outside of work, her two children, family, and friends keep her wonderfully busy. Bec's caring nature and passion for animals make her a treasured part of our team.
Emma
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Emma is a registered veterinary nurse who has loved animals for as long as she can remember. After completing her Diploma in New Zealand and working in a North Island clinic for 1.5 years, she returned to her hometown of Perth to continue her career. Emma particularly enjoys grass seed and abscess cases, and outside the clinic you'll find her playing sports, riding horses, mountain biking, or hanging out with her dog, Bucky.
Chloe
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Chloe is a registered veterinary nurse who has always been drawn to the special bond between people and their pets, and the opportunity to support both. She began her career working with racehorses at an equine veterinary practice before transitioning into small animal nursing. Chloe has a strong passion for surgery and anaesthesia and is particularly focused on creating a calm, low-stress environment for feline patients. Outside of work, she competes in rodeos with her horse, spends time with her little orange cat, and is currently studying to become a qualified equine massage therapist.

Kim
Registered Veterinary Nurse / Receptionist
Kim has had a lifelong passion for animals and brings over 30 years of experience to the veterinary industry. Her career began through a school work placement and weekend volunteering, before furthering her skills with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Kim has a particular passion for client care and liaison, as well as the joy of welcoming new life into the world. She has also volunteered with Vets Beyond Borders in Lombok and her local Fire and Rescue service. Outside of work, Kim enjoys baking, cooking and AFL, and spending time with her family and many beloved pets.
Tiffany
Practice Manager
Tiffany is our longest-standing registered veterinary nurse and has been part of the clinic since it first opened in 2016. She began her journey with us in kennel hand and reception roles before progressing into nursing and now serves as our West Swan Nurse Operations Manager. Tiffany is deeply passionate about supporting both patients and their owners, with a particular focus on managing complex hospital and medical cases. Known as our resident "take-it-home" nurse, she regularly opens her home to strays of all kinds, from litters of kittens to baby mice and everything in between. Outside of work, Tiffany owns and runs a mechanic workshop and enjoys spending time with her horses and pets.
Sian
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Sian is a registered veterinary nurse whose love of animal's spans across all species. She began her career working on a thoroughbred stud, where the veterinary side of the industry sparked her passion for veterinary nursing. Sian has a special interest in surgical cases and has recently completed additional training focused on caring for brachycephalic patients. Outside of work, she keeps busy with her three horses, two cats, three dogs, and five fish, and competes as part of the WA Para High Performance Squad.
Ashton
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Ashton has always had a passion for animals and a lifelong dream of becoming a Veterinary Nurse. After graduating from AVT in 2008, Ashton gained valuable experience through placements at several veterinary clinics, including Murdoch University during Year 12. With a particular interest in clinical and medical cases, Ashton brings extensive experience and compassionate care to every patient. Outside of work, Ashton enjoys caring for and riding their horses, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Tessa
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Tessa has always had a strong passion for animals and takes great pride in providing compassionate care to help patients feel their best. She began her veterinary career with us during her practical placement and was delighted to join the team after completing her qualification. Tessa has a particular interest in surgical nursing, as well as emergency and critical care, and enjoys working as part of a team to provide patients with the highest level of care when they need it most. Outside of work, Tessa enjoys spending time with her dog, cats and horses, camping, and catching up with friends.

Siena
Kennel Hand / Receptionist
Sienna began with us as a workplace student. She picked up the day-to-day roles in clinic and has since grown from a kennel hand position to also working in a reception role! Sienna is very busy with her university studies, as well as completing high-level events with her horses.
Eloise
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Eloise has had a lifelong love of animals and was drawn to veterinary nursing through her passion for supporting both animals and their owners. She began her practical training at Swan Valley in 2017 and has developed particular interests in wound care, surgical stitch-ups, livestock, and mentoring veterinary nurses. Eloise also holds a degree in Agricultural Science, specialising in Animal Health and Animal Science, further strengthening her knowledge and experience in animal care. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horses, camping and attending rodeos.
Dianne
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Di is a casual registered veterinary nurse with a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to rabbits, guinea pigs, and mice. She is deeply committed to advocating for her patients and has a strong interest in animal behaviour within the clinic, always working to minimise stress and fear. Di particularly enjoys rescue and emergency work and has previously worked with organisations such as the RSPCA and Cat Haven. Outside of work, she regularly opens her home to homeless animals and enjoys spending time with her own pets and family.
Pia
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Pia is an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our Bullsbrook clinics most Saturdays. As a TAFE lecturer in Veterinary Nursing, Pia is passionate about education and supporting our nursing team, particularly with advanced surgical cases. Her compassionate approach and dedication to patient care are highly valued by our team and clients. Pia is also Fear Free Certified, ensuring she provides calm, compassionate care to help keep our patients as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Jemma
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Jemma is a registered veterinary nurse who has always had a strong love for animals. She began her studies at AVT, completing her Certificate II and III before progressing to achieve her full nursing registration. Jemma particularly enjoys surgical nursing and providing attentive care to patients during their post-operative recovery. Outside of work, she and her partner are keen bodybuilders and enjoy spending time at the gym and staying active.
Alyssa
Veterinary Receptionist
Alyssa grew up on a hobby farm and has always had a passion for animals. Alyssa is currently studying at university to become a veterinarian herself! She has spent the last few years working in a reception role with us and plans to graduate from university and work in a mixed practice where she can work with all animals from dachshunds to horses! Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys crocheting and spending time at the beach with her dogs.
Summer
Kennel Hand
​Summer first joined our clinic as a school workplace student, and thanks to her fantastic attitude and strong work ethic, she quickly became a valued member of the team in a casual role as our kennel hand. Over the past few years, Summer has grown tremendously in confidence and skill, especially with assisting our surgical nurses in preparing and caring for surgical patients. Her dedication and willingness to learn make her an important part of our day-to-day clinic life. Outside of work, Summer is a high-level horse rider, bringing the same commitment and passion to her riding as she does to caring for our patients
